What is Surah At-Tin about?
By the fig and the olive! Allah created people in the very best shape. Those who believe and do good get a reward that never ends. Surah At-Tin (The Fig) is surah number 95 of the Quran, a Makki surah of 8 ayat in Juz 30. It is number 21 in the Noor Garden memorization path for kids.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
- 1
وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيْتُونِ
By the fig and the olive
- 2
وَطُورِ سِينِينَ
And [by] Mount Sinai
- 3
وَهَـٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْأَمِينِ
And [by] this secure city [i.e., Makkah],
- 4
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ فِىٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍۢ
We have certainly created man in the best of stature;
- 5
ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَـٰهُ أَسْفَلَ سَـٰفِلِينَ
Then We return him to the lowest of the low,
- 6
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍۢ
Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted.
- 7
فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِٱلدِّينِ
So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense?
- 8
أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ ٱلْحَـٰكِمِينَ
Is not Allāh the most just of judges?

| مَمْنُونٍۢ | mamnūnin | ending |
| فَمَا | famā | Then what |
| يُكَذِّبُكَ | yukadhibuka | causes you to deny |
| بَعْدُ | baʿdu | after (this) |
| بِٱلدِّينِ | bil-dīni | the judgment |
| أَلَيْسَ | alaysa | Is not |
| ٱللَّهُ | l-lahu | Allah |
| بِأَحْكَمِ | bi-aḥkami | (the) Most Just |
| ٱلْحَـٰكِمِينَ | l-ḥākimīna | (of) the Judges |
How to memorize Surah At-Tin
- Listen: press “Start learning” and listen to Mishary Alafasy recite Surah At-Tin three times while following the Arabic text.
- Practice each ayah: in Practice mode every ayah repeats ×3, ×5 or ×7 with an echo pause, so your child says it back out loud.
