Juz Tabarak is the 29th part of the Quran. It holds 11 surahs, from Al-Mulk (67) to Al-Mursalat (77), and children usually learn it right after finishing Juz Amma, going backwards from Al-Mursalat to Al-Mulk.

Once your child has finished Juz Amma, Juz Tabarak is the natural next step. It is named after its first word, Tabarak, the opening of Surah Al-Mulk, a surah the Prophet ﷺ encouraged us to recite every night. Its surahs are a little longer than those of Juz Amma, but they keep the same strong rhythm and the same vivid pictures: the stars, the mountains, the gardens, the story of Prophet Nuh and the jinn who listened to the Quran.

Noor Garden lists the 11 surahs in the order children usually memorize them, starting with Al-Mursalat and ending with Al-Mulk. Every surah page has the full Uthmani Arabic text, the Sahih International translation, a word-by-word table, a short lesson for kids and a Start learning button. In the app your child hears Mishary Rashid Alafasy word by word, repeats each ayah, hides the words in stages and checks their memory with puzzles.

It is all free, with no ads, no accounts and no sign-up. Progress stays on your own device.

Frequently asked questions

How many surahs are in Juz Tabarak?

Juz Tabarak (Juz 29) has 11 surahs, from Surah Al-Mulk (67) to Surah Al-Mursalat (77).

Should my child learn Juz Tabarak before Juz Amma?

Usually not. Most children finish Juz Amma first because its surahs are shorter, then move to Juz Tabarak, starting with Al-Mursalat and ending with Al-Mulk.

Why is Surah Al-Mulk special?

The Prophet ﷺ said a surah of thirty ayat interceded for a man until he was forgiven, and that is Tabarak (Al-Mulk), as reported by at-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud. Many families recite it every night.
