Noor Garden

About Noor Garden

Noor Garden is a free, bilingual (English and Arabic) website that helps children aged 5 to 11 learn and memorize Al-Fatihah, Juz Amma, Juz Tabarak and 15 short authentic hadith. It has no ads, no accounts and no sign-up.

Who built it

Noor Garden was built by a parent and engineer in Jordan who wanted a simple, calm way for his own children to learn the short surahs at home. Most Quran apps for kids are paid, full of pop-ups, or ask for an account before a child can hear a single ayah. We wanted something different: open the page, press play, and learn.

It is a family project, not a company. There is no investor, no sales team and nothing to buy.

Why it is free

Teaching the Quran is a trust, and we hope for reward from Allah rather than from users. So Noor Garden is free for every family, school and madrasa. There are no ads, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no accounts. We do not collect children's data, and progress is saved only in the browser on your own device.

How children learn here

Children learn best by listening, repeating and playing. Every surah plays in the recitation of Sheikh Mishary Rashid Alafasy, with each word highlighted as it is recited, so a child can follow along before they can read fluently. They can repeat one ayah as many times as they like, then hide the words in stages until they recite from memory. Short puzzles such as ordering the words or finding the missing word check what they remember, and a small tree grows as they finish each surah.

For parents, each surah has its own page with the Arabic text, translation, word meanings and a short lesson, and each hadith has its source, a lesson and a daily challenge.

Being honest about what we are

We are not scholars. The Quran text, translation and tafsir come from established, widely used sources, and every hadith is taken from the well-known collections with its reference number. You can read exactly where everything comes from on our Sources & Method page. If you find a mistake, please tell us and we will fix it quickly.
