The hadith
خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ
The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it.

What it teaches
Learning the Quran and teaching it to others makes you one of the best people.
A little story to help understand it
This is an illustrative example we wrote to explain the meaning. It is not part of the hadith.
Ibrahim had just memorised Surah Al-Ikhlas. At dinner, he noticed his little sister Ruqayya listening. "Do you want to learn it too?" he asked. Every evening for a week, Ibrahim said one ayah and Ruqayya repeated it after him. Sometimes she mixed up the words, and Ibrahim patiently helped her again. By Friday, Ruqayya recited the whole surah to their parents. Everyone said "MashaAllah!" Their mother reminded them that the Prophet ﷺ said the best are those who learn the Quran and teach it, and now both of them were learning and teaching.
