What is Surah Al-Qadr about?
The Quran came down on Laylat al-Qadr, a special night better than a thousand months! Angels come down, and it is full of peace until dawn. Surah Al-Qadr (The Power) is surah number 97 of the Quran, a Makki surah of 5 ayat in Juz 30. It is number 19 in the Noor Garden memorization path for kids.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
- 1
إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ
Indeed, We sent it [i.e., the Qur’ān] down during the Night of Decree.
- 2
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ
And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?
- 3
لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌۭ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍۢ
The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.

تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍۢ
The angels and the Spirit [i.e., Gabriel] descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter.

سَلَـٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ
Peace it is until the emergence of dawn.

How to memorize Surah Al-Qadr
- Listen: press “Start learning” and listen to Mishary Alafasy recite Surah Al-Qadr three times while following the Arabic text.
- Practice each ayah: in Practice mode every ayah repeats ×3, ×5 or ×7 with an echo pause, so your child says it back out loud.
- Memorize levels: each level hides more words until your child can recite the whole surah from memory.
- Puzzles: put the words of each ayah back in order to check the memorization, then review it tomorrow before starting the next surah.
