What is Surah Al-Ikhlas about?

Allah is One and nobody is like Him. The Prophet ﷺ said this surah equals one third of the Quran. Surah Al-Ikhlas (The Sincerity) is surah number 112 of the Quran, a Makki surah of 4 ayat in Juz 30. It is number 4 in the Noor Garden memorization path for kids.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. 1

    قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ

    Say, "He is Allāh, [who is] One,

  2. 2

    ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ

    Allāh, the Eternal Refuge.

  3. 3

    لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ

    He neither begets nor is born,

  4. 4

    وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌۢ

    Nor is there to Him any equivalent."

How to memorize Surah Al-Ikhlas

  1. Listen: press “Start learning” and listen to Mishary Alafasy recite Surah Al-Ikhlas three times while following the Arabic text.
  2. Practice each ayah: in Practice mode every ayah repeats ×3, ×5 or ×7 with an echo pause, so your child says it back out loud.
  3. Memorize levels: each level hides more words until your child can recite the whole surah from memory.
  4. Puzzles: put the words of each ayah back in order to check the memorization, then review it tomorrow before starting the next surah.
